Founded in 1865 and owned by Georg Schmider. Products included hand-painted Black Forest peasant service (rooster and hen), coffee, tea, dinner service, flowerpots, vases, modern ceramics, majolica, and dessert, cake, and fruit sets. Types of decoration included underglaze painting and matt glazings. Products were exported to the USA, Canada, Belgium, Holland, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Africa, Romania, and India. In 1925, it employed 500 workers.
