Jasba-Keramikfabriken, Jakob Schwaderlapp & Sons KG, Ransbach-Baumbach

In 1926 Jacob Schwaderlapp founded the earthenware factory, which was a leased estate, in Baumbach. In 1926 he set up his own factory. His assortment contained vases, fruit peel and pots in terracotta. In 1937 the glazed ceramics were added onto the assortment. A big fire hindered their development provisionally in 1938. Nevertheless, the newly-built buildings were well-equipped with modern technique. The range of products in the assortment was reduced due to the war. In the postwar period they began to produce refined stoneware dishes in order to increase their development. The production of ornaments was halted in the 70’s. Today, the firm produces oven tiles and ceramic panels for chimneys.
